Our Story & Our Team

Meet the People Behind Your Care

Intuitive Choice PT & Wellness was born from a shared belief: the best physical therapy happens in your world, not a busy clinic's schedule.

Our Philosophy

Care That's as Unique as You Are

We founded Intuitive Choice PT & Wellness because we saw the gap between what physical therapy could be and what it too often was — rushed visits, rotating staff, and cookie-cutter protocols. We believe that truly healing care is intuitive, individualized, and happens where you actually live.

Every client we see receives direct care from one of our licensed co-owners. We take our time, listen deeply, and build treatment plans around your goals — not insurance algorithms.

Whole-Person Care

We look beyond the diagnosis to understand how your condition affects your daily life, relationships, and goals.

Evidence-Based Practice

Our techniques are grounded in current research and continuously refined to reflect the best available evidence.

Long-Term Empowerment

Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary. We teach you to understand your body and sustain your progress independently.

About Megan

Megan McLain is a Georgia native who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercer University. Her clinical passion lies in neurological conditions and complex pain presentations — including hypermobility spectrum disorders and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome — where a nuanced, patient-centered approach makes all the difference.

Megan brings both intellectual rigor and genuine warmth to every session. She stays current with emerging evidence in neurological rehabilitation and complex pain science, and she's known for her ability to explain the "why" behind every part of the treatment plan in a way that empowers patients.

When she's not treating patients, Megan is passionate about community education around movement, pain science, and the role of lifestyle in long-term recovery. She is deeply committed to making high-quality PT accessible to those who need it most.

"I believe every person deserves to understand what's happening in their body and have the tools to heal — not just for now, but for life."

Her specialties include orthopedic conditions, sports injury rehabilitation, neurological recovery, and balance training. She approaches each session with creativity and persistence, adapting techniques to fit your unique anatomy, tolerance, and goals.

"Eleven years in, and I'm still moved by the moment a patient does something they thought they'd never do again. That's why we do this."
