No. Georgia's Direct Access law allows you to receive physical therapy without a physician referral for the first 8 visits or 21 days — whichever comes first. After that, a referral is required to continue care.
All care is provided by Megan McLain, DPT or Ashley Irvin, PTA — the co-owners of Intuitive Choice PT & Wellness. You will never be handed off to an aide or assistant without your knowledge.
Your initial visit (55–75 minutes) is a comprehensive functional movement assessment. We evaluate your strength, flexibility, balance, movement patterns, and pain levels to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the area being treated. We bring all necessary equipment — you just need a clear space to work (about 6x6 feet) and a mat or firm surface if possible.
Initial evaluation: $200 (55–75 minutes). Follow-up visits: $160 (60 minutes). We accept Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage PPO plans, and commercial PPO insurance. Self-pay clients receive a Good Faith Estimate before treatment begins.
Yes. We are Medicare Part B providers and also accept Medicare Advantage PPO plans. After the 2026 Medicare Part B deductible ($283), Medicare typically covers 80% of the approved amount, with your supplemental insurance often covering the remaining 20%.
Traditional home health PT requires you to be "homebound" — meaning it is a significant effort to leave your home. Our concierge service has no homebound requirement. You can be active, working, or simply prefer the convenience and privacy of receiving one-on-one care in your own space.
In-home PT is ideal for adults and seniors who have difficulty driving or traveling to a clinic, individuals recovering from surgery, those with neurological conditions affecting mobility, people with chronic pain or hypermobility, caregivers, and anyone who prefers the privacy of personalized one-on-one care at home.
